Narrow Aisle Forklift
A narrow aisle forklift is utilized for lowering and lifting loaded pallets from high storage areas. This model is recommended for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, like retail establishments or warehouses. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires that make maneuvering really simple.
Generally, the operator of this specific type of forklift stands up within a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: two in the front, and one in the rear. This design enables for fast and easy maneuvering. There are some models of these forklifts which are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment can pivot to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to reposition the whole equipment. The sit-down model normally has four wheels.
Numerous narrow aisle forklifts are powered by an electric engine. Electric-powered machines are not noisy and do not produce exhaust fumes, making them the preferred option for closed places such as retail spaces. Some lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. However, the diesel version is not suggested to be utilized indoors as it can be quite noisy and produce exhaust.
