Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in constructing pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, different kinds of forklifts, presses, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
During 1963, the company started crane production. The company eventually invested all of their financial resources and human resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru presently manufactures and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machinery are designed and engineered for various applications and there are models available to cover all construction needs.
Some models provide really flexible lifting options for businesses which are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity and provide 22 to 40 meters jib range.
Other models include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are extremely adaptable and user friendly. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building location.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are regular tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These kinds of cranes are particularly designed to work in tight locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are found near each other.
