The Combilift company was established by two engineers, Robert Moffett and Martin McVicar. Between them, they had over four decades of engineering experience when they established the business in 1998 within Monaghan, Ireland. In just over 10 years, Combilift became a leader within the long handling market all around the globe, delivering products to over 50 markets all around the globe. Supported by a trusted global network of distributors which have helped expand distribution into numerous markets all over the globe and using their extensive knowledge and experience, McVicar and Moffett have created machines which had sold 10,000 units by mid 2009 and are in high demand.
Beneath is a summary of some of the Combilift units.
C-Series Combilifts are available in an array of mast options. Lift heights up to nine meters and lift capacities as much as 25,000 kilograms are available. Available engines are in diesel, electric or battery and LPG or gas and the C-Series Combilifts could work within guided aisles as narrow as 210 centimetres wide.
The Combilift Straddle Carriers can lift fully loaded containers which may weigh up to 35 tons. These loads can be transported all over a facility or work site and the Combilift Straddle Carrier can raise fully loaded containers where needed, whether it be from the trailer to the ground, from the ground to the trailer, or from trailer to trailer. These types of machinery are a cost-effective, efficient solution for many haulage, shipping, and distribution businesses, even those kinds with low throughput levels.
The SL-Series side-loaders are machines capable of driving in four directions thanks to its multi-directional steering. This hydrostatic, all-wheel drive forklift could help companies in a lot of ways, one of which is to allow facilities to have aisles that are narrower. It also allows the capability to block or bilk stack by driving forward. This highly manoeuvrable truck is normally considered to be a better option as opposed to numerous conventional sit-down sideloaders because of the many additional capabilities and features.
