Our many years of experience in developing high quality products and the overall designing process helps to enable our client's be given the proven technology their various applications need.

Within the US marketplace, SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. Various industries like for instance Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, as well as numerous other material handling facilities including Bulk Transfer Facilities currently using our buckets and grabs to get their tasks done.

Peiner's design philosophy has continually revolved around the idea of making grabs which deal with the biggest volume as opposed to grab dead weight. Normally, the grab and bucket lifting ratio's meaning that 60 percent of material is dead weight versus 40 percent grab dead weight. This means transporting greater quantities of materials quicker. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related parts is less. Through a combination of high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the desirable weight ratio is obtained.

To be able to meet the particular needs of our clients' individual needs, grab sizes range from less than 1 cubic yard to over fifty cubic yards. Peiner USA Inc. also offers a complete service facility and spare parts facility for the models sold within the USA, along with the addition of new buckets and grabs.
