Engineered for Safety
Yale is famous for offering safe lift trucks that are flexible and adaptable for various applications and tasks. The ability to make and engineer units for better safety comes from the new technology which is available in the material handling business and the company's experience.
Yale likes to integrate new technology that is available into their latest designs. Some of the new technologies which are available are first applied to forklift trucks and then later proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company performs numerous reliability development and controlled field tests in order to make sure that their products are really safe.
Some of Yale's new designs and technology which has been incorporated as standard features for their fleet in order to improve overall safety consist of the following:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The ergonomics within the operator compartment as well as the controls are made with state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids fatigue as well as heavy repetitive motions. These added comforts help to increase overall production.
Adjustable Operators Compartment and Controls
Adjustable operator controls allow the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machinery user friendly, regardless of who is using it. Prior to starting their shift, the operator can make sure he or she is as comfortable as she or he could be.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being used if the operator is not in the correct operating position. This presence system additionally disables directional travel on trucks which have IC engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the liquid propane gas tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the natural handling position of the operator making the tank easier to change.
