Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't correctly trained to utilize the forklift. Your business must develop and post in a visible location all forklift safety procedures.
Rather than going through training because workers are required to, they must have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer should help staff understand the importance of proper training. Let them realize that they could injure or kill not just themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that your workers undertake training seriously.
