Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a huge variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you complete all your needs, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. If both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more precisely. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being designed and made all the time and will debut in the future.
Lots of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
